In the fourth in a series of new collaborations with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Musiqa is proud to present a free concert celebrating the MFAH’s exhibit Raqib Shaw: Ballads of East and West. Join us at 6:30 pm in the downstairs area of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building on Thursday, June 20 for an evening of music for flute and cello by Reena Esmail, Ashan Srinivasan and Reza Vali, performed by Caio Diniz and Tyler Martin.

Join us downstairs in the new Nancy and Rich Kinder Building by entering from the street and walking down the stairs, or entering the building from the parking garage, which is free on Thursdays. The concert takes place on the bottom floor, near the tunnel between the museum buildings.

This performance is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance, Alice M. Ditson Fund, Amphion Foundation, The Brown Foundation, Inc., The Cullen Trust for the Performing Arts, New Music USA’s New Music Organizational Development Fund, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
