In the third in a series of new collaborations with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Musiqa is proud to present a free concert celebrating the MFAH’s exhibit None Whatsoever: Zen Paintings from the Gitter-Yelen Collection. Join us at 6:30 pm in the downstairs area of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building on Thursday, May 18 for an evening of music for percussion by Steve Reich, Daiki Kato, Juri See and Alexandre Lunsqui. Performers include Aaron Guillory, Bobby McCullagh and Terry McKinney.

Join us downstairs in the new Nancy and Rich Kinder Building by entering from the street and walking down the stairs, or entering the building from the parking garage, which is free on Thursdays. The concert takes place on the bottom floor, near the tunnel between the museum buildings.

This performance is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance, Aaron Copland Fund for Music, Alice M. Ditson Fund, Amphion Foundation, The Brown Foundation, Inc., The Cullen Trust for the Performing Arts, New Music USA’s New Music Organizational Development Fund, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
